Note: Although LCD display which using Seiko-Epson drivers are based on SPI protocol,it can be used in the same manner as those based on Philips drivers. The main difference is that in first line we never have Sdata an ACK, but the 9th bit clock is necessary. Another difference, drivers from Seiko-Epson are initialised in the first 100ms of powering on and controls are more similar than PCF2116 with PCF2105 (using the program for GH337 on Philips LCD will see a blinking cursor, on a LCD Seiko-Epson is not shown).
Nota: Desi afisoarele lcd ce folosesc drivere Seiko-Epson sunt bazate pe protocolul SPI, pot fii utilizate folosind aceeasi procedura de programare ca cele bazate pe drivere Philips. Diferenta principala este ca pe linia Sdata nu vom primii niciodata un Ack, dar bitul noua de clock este necesar. O alta diferenta esta aceea ca driverele Seiko-Epson se initializeaza in primele 100ms de la alimentare iar comenzile sunt similare mai mult cu PCF2116 decit cu PCF2105 (folosind programul pt. GH337 pe un lcd Philips vom vedea cursorul clipind, pe un lcd Seiko-Epson nu apare).
